A three-minute fashion film about motion, memory and the moment just after something leaves the frame.
The idea
Maison Sato wanted a film for their autumn collection that felt more like a memory than an advert. We shot everything with long exposures and real movement, so each look leaves a trace behind it.
The work
Two days, one warehouse, three dancers and a single moving light. The edit follows rhythm rather than story, and the colour was pulled back to near monochrome.
